Riviera Maya Mexican Restaurant in Rising Sun

First visit here thanks to Mauve for inviting us and the food n service was excellent

Our first time here, and remember we are in a time of carry-out only. I ordered Chimichanga for the first time was delicious. The orders my family placed were delicious as well. I highly recommend this restaurant especially when the Pandemic is behind us.

Outstanding Mexican Cuisine, wait stall were awesome. If you are near it stop and eat well here, a must go to.

What a gem! :-) . Their food is always fresh and good only surpassed by their service. We love the way the restaurant is decorated, bright colored Fresco's abound!

Service is good food as well. Wife asked for no rice or beans but still got rice inside her burrito. Other than that it was good

Very nice Mexican restaurant. Excellent decor. Prompt, efficient and friendly servers. Fresh, well prepared food. Wonderful salsa.We all had quesadillas, and we all enjoyed them. The prices are reasonable. There's ample free parking. I recommend this place.

I've been here three times. The first time I got chile rellenos, they were good and pretty close to homemade. The second time I ordered chicken or pork in green salsa, I can't remember which one because the meat was so chewy I questioned which animal it actually came from. Today I order tacos to go and they were stingy on the meat, cilantro and onion. The service is ok, food is seasoned decently but not worthy of a higher rating.

We were there today. Cute restaurant, good decor, nice people, good food. But if the food comes to the table luke warm it is not pleasant. Plates were cold, and if heated plates were used, and the kitchen paid attention to all the food, you could have a terrific restaurant.Also staff should not be sweeping the floors and rattling the chairs and tables for 15 minutes while people are eating dinner. It is a small room and you need to respect the noise level

He loves this place, I don’t. Had plastic in my food. Wrong order came out. Bland... no sauce. I’m not understanding why people are so sold over this place. The first time was okay.. by the 3rd visit I was over it. Never again.

Outstanding food and even greater service. This place has the best salsa I have ever had. Definitely check this place out if you're in Rising Sun.

I love the salsa and chips here! The salsa is mild and has a flavor that is different than any other I have eaten. We're from out of town, but when we're in the area, we try to make sure to stop for lunch or dinner. The nachos are delicious, too!!

Main dish was as expected. The Salsa Verde is better than Rojo. Can sub Black for Pinto beans, a treat for those who arent into Pinto. Overall, pretty good, had Dr Pepper. Service was good.

Their food is excellent. Their enchiladas are awesome, and the drinks were great as well.

The food is great and they give you a lot of it. The inside of the restaurant is beautifully decorated. You can also sit outside and eat too!

Good service. Food okay. I am picky with Mexican food. Not hot enough, jalapeno cheese with minimal pieces of jalapenos(3 pcs.). Salsa actually tasted sweet so would not recommend that, salsa is meant to be spicy. Great chocolate martini.

This is the only authentic Mexican food we could find in the area. Very good and GREAT prices!!! I love this place!

My wife loves the salsa, , but I think it could be spicier, and they always accommodate me, with a heavy dose of not for gringos, ha, it's affordable and fast courteous service

Love this place, only real Mexican restaurant I have found since I moved here from Colorado 4 years ago. You van taste the lime a cilantro, nothing is over done, truly real Mexican. 5/5 every time. Been here over twelve times, not once have I been upset, recommended the enchiladas and the dobladas!!!

They were busy with a large party, and we still recieved good service. Had the shrimp fajitas, would order this again good flavor. Would return here if in area.

I absolutely love this place! Their food is never bad, as well as the service. I always get their stake tacos (yummy) and Mexican rice. I honestly would die for their salsa and guacamole. Please go if your in town, it's literally a must. I promise you'll love it!

Food is very good. Service is excellent. Only minor issue is that food is inconsistent. I get the same meal everytime and it seems to be made differently and cooked differently each time. Some times are better than others.

Food selection was good, food was delicious, wait staff awesome. The only negative was prices were a bit high for the area. Food was worth the price though!

I have yet to get a meal that makes me go "mmmm!" They have your standard combos and such and it's never full of flavor or really hot. They also don't have ground beef, just pulled beef which is almost dry. An okay place of you really need Mexican and can't drive to Newark or Aberdeen

Solid place to get Mexican food. Service was excellent and the food was yummy. I had the Mexican taco salad with steak. At first glance it looked like ground hamburger, but it was thin sliced steak similar to a cheesesteak sub piled on top of fresh ingredients and a flaky crispy shell. I highly recommend both the fried ice cream and churros for dessert. Both hit a home run with the flavor and texture that most places don't come close to delivering on. Will definitely eat here again next time I'm passing through Rising Sun.

Great family friendly restaurant with amazing Mexican food!!!

I was looking forward to trying out this restaurant for my daughters birthday. The service was not great. Our meals staggered out with 10-20 minutes in between and one was the wrong meal completely. The food was unimpressive. I could not even eat mine. The guac was watered down and mush. Food was not good.

One of our local favorites. This is authentic Mexican food with some Tex/Mex dishes as well. Great people and fast service.
